Texas Reading Roundup

We teamed up with Microsoft and NCCE to create a world that would help improve student scores on standardized tests. There were three areas of English Language Arts that were deficient across most of the K through 12 grades. We set out to create a gameplay experience that would exercise these skills through gameplay in Minecraft.

We used memorable stories and locations from Texas as the setting. Educators can select from four different grade bands for students. Lesson plans and supporting educator materials are provided by NCCE.
