Bed Wars Sample Map
A ready-to-play arena is included with your season, so your teams can practice their gameplay and take inspiration for building their own arenas.
We also include an version with no coding, so builders can practice using the world coder to turn an arena into a functional game.
Blank Starter Template
We include a starter template that helps students with recommended spacing for their eight base islands, the mid islands and the center island. This saves valuable time while helping the students create a more balanced arena.
Construction Kit Blocks
Our "Construction Kit" includes custom blocks that allow the builders to determine the location of critical features in the game. Each of the eight bases have custom blocks that define the location of player spawn, team bed, currency generator, and shopkeeper. Additional mid and center island currency generators and final showdown spawn blocks are also included to give players full control of their arena design and layout.
Bed Wars World Coder
After the students design their arena and place the custom blocks that determine the location of all the important game features, they use the World Coder to turn it into a playable game. The World Coder will check for errors and will allow the creator to customize the in-game economy to create a unique game experience. The World Coder delivers a playable game so teams can iterate the playtesting and updating of their arena...a valuable skill for their future.
Competitive Season
After students compete to create the best parkour arenas, each winning build serves as their "home court" for the competitive racing season.
This is a great opportunity to celebrate their school, club, or organization by adding unique team spirit to their arena.
Curriculum on Cleverlike School
Coaches and competitors get a step-by-step guide to participating in the Bed Wars season. This is a more advanced esports program but we guide you every step of the way. Coaches will have access to lesson plans, coaching resources, sample worlds, templates, tools, and training.
