SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Participating in hands-on activities and receiving a Certificate of Completion with require hardware, software, and network access for each workshop.

Minecraft Education and the Blockbench 3D design software are lightweight and run on many school devices.

Hardware

Windows: Intel i5, 8 GB RAM, 2 GB Free Hard Drive Space
Mac: Works on Mac Computers, iPad, and iPhone devices
Chromebook: Works on most Chromebook devices

Software

Minecraft Education (This is paid software that requires a license. Check if your school account is licensed for Minecraft Education. We may have some demo account access for workshops, but not guaranteed.)
Blockbench software is accessible via a web site (app.blockbench.net)

Network

If attending from a school network, ensure that Minecraft Education is not blocked by your network.

Twinmotion is a user-friendly industry software tool that is more accessible than Unreal Engine but based on the same technology, so it is a great step toward building transferable career skills.

Epic Games Launcher
From the Epic Games Launcher, Install the latest Twinmotion from the Twinmotion tab.

Unreal Editor for Fortnite is a high-powered industry software tool that demands some of the highest performance hardware. Luckily, most gaming computers will run it successfully. (This will not run on Chromebooks or tablets)
