This five-day course is designed to empower educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the AP CSP curriculum using MakeCode for Minecraft Education. Engage in hands-on activities, explore standards and resources, and learn to utilize immersive and interactive learning experiences with your students.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Immersive Learning: Dive into Minecraft Education, use MakeCode's intuitive interface, and embark on GameCode's exciting journey to design and build your own arcade-style minigames. 

  • Comprehensive Curriculum: Master fundamental computer science concepts while unleashing your creativity to become an inventive game designer. 

  • College Board Approved: Prepare for the AP CSP exam and future academic pursuits in computer science, game design, or technology.
