Creux Salon Website

Creux Salon is Denver's premier salon and day spa, located in Cherry Creek. The salon was looking for a website that was simple and elegant and easy for their customers to use. They also wanted something that wasn't 'graphics driven' and that reflected the look and feel of their shop. The site also needed to be easy to update with news items and press and media articles.

Impress Design created a custom content management system with a look and feel that compliments the salon's decor and ambiance.

The background for the site is a single large image that began as a photograph of an exterior wall to an old mexican building. The wall was painted gold. I liked it for its texture. I had to manipulate the color quite a bit to get it to the current chocolate color, including ovelaying a semi-transparent layer to give it the rich look it has.

Two very important things to note abot the Creux Salon site and its construction. After one month, the website has a Google Page Rank of 2. And, more importantly, in a search for 'Cherry Creek salon' the Creux site has already made it to the top of the second page!
